After studying food vocabulary, you are going to put it in action by creating a menu for your own restaurant. The menu must include entree, main course, dessert, beverage (drinks) and price for each item.  

You can use the template as a guide

2. Pick your favorite food and write the recipe. After you write the recipe, send me a video or and audio describing the recipe.

Ex. Quipe - Originating in the Middle East, Quipes are a delicious food common in Dominican culture. They are made from wheat, spices, and meat (usually chicken) and then fried until crispy and brown.

    3. Request with modals and would you mind….?

    1 “Could you please tell me the next time you have a party? I’d like to make sure I’m not home.”
    2 “Can you turn the stereo off, please? The walls are really thin, so the sound goes through to my apartment.”
    3 “Would mind closing the door behind you and making sure  it locks?  We don’t want any strangers to enter the building.
    4 ”
    Would you please tell your guests to use the visitor parking spaces? A lot of cars have been using my space recently.”
    5 “Would you mind not putting your garbage in front of your door? It’s not very pleasant to see it in  the hallway




    Make your request.

    A. Think of 10 unusual  requests and the possible answer, write them in your notebook and then send me an audio telling them. ( the audio could be send by email or voice message)


    ex. Could you lend me your toothbrush?

    B. Answer the following question in complete sentences in your notebook and send me an audio with the questions and answer.


    Could you lend me twenty dollars?

    Can you get me a sandwich?

    Can you help me to my new house?

    Would you mind not sitting here?

    Could you move your car from my space?

    Would you mind not talking so loudly?
