Admissions and Internships for International Students

Experience the real Dominican Republic - Live in the Cibao Valley - the island's agricultural center.
The Liceo Científico accepts a limited number of international students who come to us either individually or through partner organizations, such as AFS.
Last few years we have hosted students and volunteers from Germany, Korea, Italy, Switzerland, New York City, Connecticut, Oregon, Canada, and Thailand, either in our summer or Fall/Spring semesters. The Liceo Cientifico accepts students for international exchanges in grades 9th through 11th, for stays as short as 1 month, to as long as 1 year. Students may come to work as assistants on specific projects, in classrooms, with school administration, in our summer camps, or with one of our 12 partner organizations (including the town's jail, the woman's center, the school for children with disabilities, the ecopark, the town cultural center and others) or as fully enrolled student at an appropriate grade level.
Home-stays or shared apartment living arrangements can be made at reasonable costs. For fully enrolled students, the Liceo charges a fixed tuition to cover the costs of education, transportation and accommodations. Experience the real Dominican Republic while getting an international school quality education!
