Good afternoon, students. I hope all of you are doing well and that you're safe and sound in your homes. 

Today we have Prepositions of Place to work with. The task is really easy. 

All you have to do is:

2. Write down the vocabulary on your notebooks along with the meanings and, if you wish, the examples.

3. Complete the exercise and send me clear pictures of it.  In this exercise you have to make a sentence with every preposition of place and make a small drawing to represent it.

​Note: You can't make any like the examples or make the drawings too big, fit 5 or 6 per page. It's 15 sentences in total.

By the end of the video, I leave you a task you need to complete, but you don't have to send it. I need you to investigate about the simple past tense for next week. What is simple past tense and what is it used for.

We will have a video conference on Google Meet to explain and discuss that topic on Friday, April 24th in the afternoon. I will be sending you the link to join it when the day is getting closer. Google Meet is the same app you used for literature class, so most of you should have that app already.

Remember that you have until Thursday, April 23rd to complete all of your homeworks, even the old ones.You won't have the same punctuation, but you won't have a zero.

Hoy tenemos las Preposiciones de lugar para trabajar. La tarea es muy sencilla.

Todo lo que tienes que hacer:

2. Escribe el vocabulario en tu cuaderno con sus significados y, si deseas, los ejemplos.

3. Completa el ejercicio y envía imágenes claras. En este ejercicio tienes que hacer 1 oración con cada preposición de lugar y un pequeño dibujo para representarlo.

Ojo: No se puede hacer nada igual a los ejemplos y los dibujos no pueden ser muy grandes, que quepan 5 o 6 por página. Son 15 oraciones en total.

Esta vez, hice un video con la explicación de la clase tanto en inglés como en español, así lo pueden entender mejor y se pueden sentir como que estamos en clase. El video está en este link:

Al final del video, les dejo una tarea para completar, pero no la tienen que enviar. El ejercicio sí, pero esto no. Quiero que investiguen sobre el simple past tense para la semana que viene. Qué es y para qué se usa.

Tendremos una videoconferencia en Google Meet para explicar y discutir este tema el viernes 24 de abril en la tarde. Estaré enviándoles el link para unirse a la llamada cuando se acerque el día. Google Meet es la misma aplicación que usaron para la clase de literatura, así que la mayoría de ustedes ya la deberían tener.

Recuerden que tienen hasta el jueves 23 de abril a las 11:59 a.m. para enviar todas sus tareas, incluyendo las viejas. No tendrán la misma puntuación para las viejas, pero no tendrán un cero.

Before explaining this week's class, let me remind you that the word room can be used to describe any place in your house, like the kitchen, the bathroom, the living room, the dining room, etc.

For this week, we will have two different things to do:
1. Download the document: Exercise parts of the house.
2. Complete this form:

For the first exercise, you have to check (x) the elements you can see in the picture. In your notebook you only have to write the list of things and mark the correct answers.
For the second exercise, you have to write the place of your house where you do those activities.

The form is your first quiz of the unit, please be very careful, because you can only do that form once. By Thursday at noon, I will send the punctuation of the quiz. So, please, finish the form before Thursday.

Your deadline for the exercises is Thursday, April 9th at 11:59 a.m.

Para el primer ejercicio, tienes que marcar (x) los elementos que puedas ver en la imagen. En tu cuaderno solo vas a tener que escribir la lista de cosas y marcar las respuestas correctas. Para el segundo ejercicio, tienes que escribir el lugar de tu casa donde realizas esas actividades.

Este formulario es tu primera prueba corta de la unidad. Por favor, sé muy cuidadoso porque solo se puede llenar una vez. El próximo jueves al mediodía, estaré enviando las puntuaciones de la prueba corta. Así que, por favor, envía el formulario antes del jueves.

Tu fecha límite para entregar los ejercicios es el jueves 9 de abril a las 11:59 a.m.
