I hope you are doing well. This week's lesson is a bit different from our regular lesson because of the English Month. We will be doing something fun this week. The last date of submission is the 1st of June 2020, Monday.

In the writing section:

Read the Garfield comic strip from the attachment and then create a comic strip of your own of 6 boxes. You can use the website Storyboard to create your comic strip or you can draw your comic strip on your notebook. The topic for your comic strip is "My quarantine life". You can make a funny story from your quarantine time and make it into a comic strip. The Garfield comic below is about a boy who doesn't clean his refrigerator because he is lazy. Here is the link to Storyboard page where you can make your comics.

I hope you all had a relaxing weekend. This week's assignment is here. Finally, we are reaching the exciting chapters of our book. This new chapter unveils many mysteries. Enjoy reading and after you finish reading the fifth chapter, please answer the questions in the attachment. There is also a fun speaking activity this week in association the English Month.

ENGLISH MONTH 2020

As you all know May is the English Month at our school. If you are interested in participating, please let me know. You can also write to me if you have any suggestions or ideas as well. All the participants will get extra credit.

I  hope you all are advancing with the book. This week things will get really interesting with the Secret Seven and we will start reading the fifth chapter. The fifth chapter is called "Exciting Plans". The assignment is in the attachments.


We have an EXTRA CREDIT section this week as well. It is optional to answer the extra credit question, but if you answer that question you will get extra points and you can improve your grades. You have 7 days to finish the work. The last date of submission is18th May 2020.

We will have a discussion on Google Meet at 03:00 PM (Today). If you have any questions regarding the lesson, please post it on the Whatsapp group. The conversation class will be done throughout the week.

We have a fun Kahoot game this week about the Secret Seven chapters till now. Give it a go. The winners will be declared next week, the first two winners will get an extra 3 points as a prize. Here is the link to this week's game. Enjoy.
